the Latifundia

Contrary to myths propagated by large food corporations, industrial farming is not feeding humanity, it is finishing off civilization with extremely environmentally destructive practices.  60% of industrial crops are used for biofuels.    According to both United Nations reports the History of World Agriculture small farms are feeding more people and in often sustainable ways.

The Small Farm aims to teach people that organic farming is easy, rewarding
and fun.   Working with soil brings humans in touch with cytokines, molecules which inspired one medical journal to ask "is soil the new happy pill?"
